Q1. I am an existing user, how can I use the new version of eyetime?

The new version’s login and registration will now be email based. Existing users will need to create a new account in order to continue using eyetime as normal. 

Simply follow the steps below to continue using eyetime: 

1. Update to the new version of eyetime (available on iOS and Android). 
2. On the login screen select ‘Sign up’. 
3. Enter your email address and create a password. 
4. Check your inbox for an email requesting to verify your address. 
5. Once verified, you can return to the app and start exploring the new app.

 

Q2: How can I find/add contacts? 

Click on the ‘+’ sign on the right-hand side of the main chat screen, select ‘new chat’ and search for friends that are already using eyetime either using their name or their email.

 

Q3: How can I invite contacts to join eyetime?

To add more contacts, you can invite them via email or SMS throught the app. 
Click on the ‘+’ sign on the right-hand side of the main chat screen, select ‘Invite friends’ and choose whether you would like to invite them via email or SMS. Once selected, simply add your contacts’ email address or phone number. 

 

Q4: Why can’t I see my old chat history?

As previously communicated prior to the release of the new app, due to the nature of the upgrade, any previous chat history will not be available.
