Lead Engineer

A little about us

Messaging is broken. Data flows across centralised communication networks, where privacy is often questionable and frequently compromised.

People increasingly perceive that they have little choice about what happens to their personal data, and, that their data is consumed, organised and sold in vast numbers to anyone who can afford it.

Here at eyetime we want to level the playing field, by building a social app that allows users to communicate in total privacy via end-to-end encryption – perhaps even to create their own communications network underneath to ensure messages and data are entirely free from corporate scrutiny.

Based on cutting edge open source principles and technologies, our innovative social apps will allow people to chat (even across other popular messaging platforms), stream, collaborate, organise, remind, pay, and connect – free in the knowledge that their data, and their privacy, are secure.

Principle technologies include Flutter, iOS and Android, Python, AWS and GCP.
